Human Resources Self Service
Employees may view their legal name, demographics, and education information and update their home address, phone numbers, and emergency contacts via the SUNY HR Portal (same system used for time and attendance). For more information and a user guide, visit http://hr.buffalostate.edu/self-service.
- Retirement Online. The New York State and Local Retirement System will be providing web-based self-service applications for members and employers. Members will be able to open an online account, change their address and other demographic information, apply for loans, and change beneficiaries.
- Online submission of timesheets for student assistants and workstudy students.
- Background checks for all new hires (e.g., those requiring the completion of an I-9). Details will be announced.
