Vacation
Full-time employees earn ½ day per pay period after completing 13 pay periods of service at the rate of 13 days per year through the first 7 years. Following 7 years of service, 20 days of vacation are earned each year. Following 20 years of continuous service, additional vacation is earned. One bonus vacation day for each year of continuous service is awarded on your anniversary date. On January 1 of each calendar year, accumulated vacation credits in excess of 40 days are forfeited.

Sick Leave
IPP (Income Protection Program) participants earn 4 days of sick leave each 6 months. Non-IPP participants earn at the rate of ½ day per pay period (13 days per year). Sick leave may be accumulated to a maximum of 200 days.
Personal Leave
You will be credited with 5 days of personal leave upon appointment and 5 days each year on your personal leave anniversary date. Any personal leave not used within a year is forfeited.
