Human Resource Management maintains the department database for the campus. If there are any changes to your department's name, campus address, phone, fax, or e-mail, please contact Human Resource Management at 878-4822 or via e-mail.
Emeriti may opt to appear in the Faculty and Staff Internal Directory (PDF) (log in required). When a faculty or professional retires, he/she will be offered the opportunity from Human Resource Management to appear in the directory. If an emeriti would like a copy of the campus directory or needs to update their contact information, please contact Human Resource Management at 878-4822 or via e-mail. Note, Emeriti do not appear in the live online faculty and staff directory, only in the .PDF version.
How does one obtain Emeritus status?
In accordance with the provisions of Title B or C of Article XV of the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees, members of the University faculty who retire in good standing shall be entitled to append the term ‘Emeritus’ to the title of their academic or administrative post after the time of retirement. Emeritus rank shall carry with it the following privileges which, in the judgement of the chief administrative officer, are feasible: use of library and study facilities, use of office and laboratory space, eligibility for research grants, and representation of the University in professional groups.
