New York State employees may qualify to participate in the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF). The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments are made under an accepted repayment plan and while working full-time for an eligible employer. New York State is an eligible employer.

- complete your PSLF form electronically,
- send your form to payroll@buffalostate.edu for the employer's digital signature (certifying your employment), and
- electronically submit your form for processing.
